Can I really come alone?
Alone is the default here. Most people arrive solo. At Joyala nights someone meets you at the door and a game is already running; at partner nights the group itself carries you. First-timers get adopted by a table within minutes, so you can't stay a stranger.
What do events cost on top of membership?
Weekly game nights are included in your membership: book a seat, show up, play. Partner events and activities, from escape rooms to paint nights, are booked at discounted member prices that exist only inside Joyala, always below the public price and always shown before you book. Some special hosted evenings carry a small event fee for the room and materials; your plan's event-fee vouchers cover those. Trips are priced per adventure.
Is there drinking?
Alcohol-optional, always. Drink or don't, entirely your call, and most events have good options either way.
Can I cancel?
Yes, cancel anytime in your account. Your membership stays active until the end of the period you paid for, then simply doesn't renew.
Will I be filmed?
Only if you're okay with it. We always ask before pointing a camera at anyone, and you can opt out at any event, no questions asked.
